Where the numbers come from

Once a day we ask a licensed streaming-availability provider what each tracked film costs in the UK and which services carry it. We write that answer down with the date attached and never overwrite it. Comparing today's answer with yesterday's is how every "price cut" and "left Netflix" line on this site is produced. Nobody types them.

Pages that stay out of search

A page here is only submitted to search engines once it has enough of its own facts to be worth landing on. Right now 458 pages fail that check and carry a noindex tag. They become indexable on their own when the archive behind them fills up.

Film data

Titles, years, runtimes, directors and genres come from Wikidata, released under CC0. We do not reproduce poster artwork, because the availability data licences do not grant image rights and the studios that own the artwork have not granted them either.

Corrections

Prices move faster than any crawler. If a figure here is wrong, the service's own page is authoritative and we would like to know.
